Je reviens d'un séjour extraordinaire à l’état de New York pour assister au Dutchess County Sheep and
Wool Festival.
I've just returned
from my first trip to Rhinebeck for the Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Festival. This being in he middle of the fall term, I
had to submit some assignments early in order to to take the Friday off and had
to do some homework on the ride home, but to say that it was worth it would be
such an understatement. It’s hard for me to describe the trip without crazy
hyperboles so I won’t bother – instead I hope to eventually post the many, many photos that
should tell the woolly story of the last few months!
I combined my handspun skeins of "Wildflowers" and "Electric Rose" (dyed by Pigeonroof Studios) to knit:
(it's a modified version of Kim Hargreave's Wisdom. Ravelry link here.
It has pockets!
I made sure to wear the heck out of the sweater at Rhinebeck, as one does.
